Avokado Artists is a full 360-degree non-profit artist management and music consulting company. Its current roster includes twice Grammy-nominated Iraqi oud master and composer Rahim AlHaj, Brazil-NYC mash up Nation Beat, the fab Mariachi Mystery Tour, thunderous Afro-Brazian percussion group, Maracatu New York, Mexican post-traditional painter Jade Leyva, Puerto Rican songwriter and educator Rachel Z. Rivera & Ojos de Sofía, and Puerto Rican singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Ani Cordero.
Avokado Artist also co-produces and co-curates the annual ¡Globalquerque! Festival,[1]New Mexico’s Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture.
Avokado Artists is also home of indie label Avokado Artists Recordings whose roster includes Kiran Ahluwalia (USA/Europe), Rahim AlHaj (USA/Europe) and Nation Beat (Europe).
